Windswept Headpiece -Final outcome

Creating this headpiece was a challenge as I had never worked with wire to such a level - I had previous experience of making a headband only. I enjoy challenges and experimenting and had been wanting to work in this style for a while. It is fiddly and time consuming but with practice and patience I feel I have opened up a new pathway to creativity in the millinery field. I am very pleased with the outcomes of this hat, It is quite dramatic but I do see that it could very well be worn to the races and can be adapted to be smaller, simpler or bigger and more outrageous!

My collaborator was extremely happy with this design and I think it works perfectly with the theme.
