Gothica - final outcome

The hat and ruff were an interesting project to undertake - I particularly enjoy costume and architecture - especially of the Gothic style and feel Victorian Costume is perfect with this style. The other element of research for this theme naturally led me to look at the film Dracula.

This created the perfect mood and vibe with the dress from the designer I collaborated with. The staging was at a stately home close by to our studios and the time of year was close to Halloween, so the weather effects gave a natural dark moody light and feel.
